“Farewell to a Courageous Canine: Snoutless Hero Dog, Savior of Two Girls, Passes Away at 13” – Sweet Paws

It’s a common knowledge that dogs are capable of amazing feats, and sometimes they get to showcase it in an extraordinary way. One such instance was when Kabang saved two little girls from getting hit by a motorcycle in the Philippines back in 2012. Sadly, it’s with great regret that we inform you that Kabang has passed away.

According to Dr. Anton Lim, the veterinarian who looked after her, Kabang passed away peacefully in her sleep. Ever since her owner’s passing in 2015, she has been under the constant care and vigilance of the veterinary team.

In 2008, Kabang was born and became famous in 2012 when she rescued two young children from being hit by a motorcycle. However, the brave little dog lost her snout during the heroic act.

The little dog’s heroic deeds earned her the title of “dogwill ambassador” and a symbol of pet ownership. She was also known for speaking up against animal cruelty. Kabang gained global recognition, leading to her receiving medical treatment in the US to fix her snout.

CBS13 reports that the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine provided care for her.

Kabang had a fulfilling life of 13 years, which is quite impressive for a furry companion. Her absence will undoubtedly leave a void.
